Integrity
We believe that integrity is the foundation of our Muslim character. Character is not inherited but is built daily by the way one thinks and acts, thought by thought, action by action.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has been identified as a powerful tool for promoting sustainable development and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. The SDGs are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
SDG 5, Gender Equality, recognizes the potential of ICT to empower women and promote gender equality. ICT can provide access to information, support women’s economic and social participation, and enable women to engage in decision-making processes.
ICT4D is a critical component of achieving the SDGs. By leveraging the power of ICT to promote inclusive economic growth, enhance access to education and information, and empower women, ICT4D can contribute to the achievement of sustainable development objectives and promote a more equitable and prosperous world for all.
WHY ICT MATTERS FOR GENDER EQUALITY
ICT provides access to information:
Information and communication technologies (ICT) provide access to information that was previously unavailable, especially in remote or rural areas. This enables women and girls to access vital information on health, education, employment, and other services that can enhance their lives and promote gender equality.

ICT promotes economic empowerment:
ICT can facilitate economic empowerment for women, particularly through e-commerce, digital marketing, and online entrepreneurship. Access to ICT tools such as smartphones, computers, and the internet, allows women to start and manage businesses, sell products online, and access global markets. This can improve their economic status and enhance their financial independence.
ICT supports social and political empowerment:
ICT can support women’s social and political empowerment by providing platforms for networking, advocacy, and political participation. Social media, for example, can enable women to connect with like-minded individuals, share experiences, and advocate for gender equality. Similarly, online platforms can support women’s political participation by providing information on political issues and opportunities to engage in decision-making processes.
