Our vision
Sustainable social economic transformation of vulnerable children and communities.
Our mission
To support vulnerable people attain sustainable development through building their capacities, information sharing and support.
Integrity
We believe that integrity is the foundation of our Muslim character. Character is not inherited but is built daily by the way one thinks and acts, thought by thought, action by action.

Empowering youth through Sports, and Music, Dance and Drama (MDD) we believe that engagement in play and sports gives youth opportunities for natural self-expression, self-confidence, relief of tension, achievement, social interaction and integration, as well as learning the spirit of solidarity and fair play. Team games and play promote positive social integration and facilitate the development of social skills in young children and youth.
In addition to promoting sports opportunities to reduce inactivity of youth and lack of sports activities, at SAAMUFO we use sports to mobilize and educate youth about health issues including HIV/AIDS,
and non-communicable diseases which are becoming a burden according to the Uganda’s ministry of health.
Likewise through MDD, we have been able to mobilize the youth, teach them skills to support themselves financially, get them out of risky areas, and raise awareness for prevention of HIV/AIDS. To get started, members of SAAMUFO made financial contributions, but it’s still not enough. We use MDD to provide important messages to both girls and boys to stay in school. In the community, we conduct outreaches so that students who dropped out of school can return also we speak to the parents and guardians, who may not be willing to educate the girl child,
